About NUR Quran
NUR is a Quran reading and Islamic learning application for Android phones and compatible tablets. It brings the full Arabic Quran text together with verse-based Turkish translation, recitation playback, saved reading position and introductory Islamic learning modules.
The interface and translations are primarily designed for Turkish-speaking readers. This English page explains the features for international visitors; it does not suggest that all app screens are available in English.
The logo is original brand artwork. The illustrated phone panels on the Turkish page are conceptual promotional previews, not in-app screenshots.
Quran reading features
Read all 114 surahs and 6,236 verses with Arabic text included in the app. Reading the Quran text does not require the internet.
Diacritized Arabic text, Amiri Quran typography, surah navigation and light/dark appearance options.
Save verses and return to your last reading position without searching for the same passage again.
Listen to verse recitations with Alafasy, Sudais, Husary and Minshawi options and verse-level following.
Read a verse-by-verse Turkish translation after the first online download; saved translation data stays available offline.
Arabic letter cards and written guidance about ablution, prayer and other basic worship topics.
Which features work offline?
The full Arabic Quran text is bundled into the application. NUR also includes 22 audio clips covering Al-Fatiha, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas, which play without a new download.
Additional recitation audio and the initial Turkish translation download require an internet connection. Downloaded resources can then be reused offline.

Frequently asked questions
Is NUR Quran an offline Quran reader?
Yes for the complete Arabic Quran text. Four short surahs include bundled audio. Other recitations and the first Turkish translation download require connectivity.
Does NUR Quran offer an English translation?
This version focuses on Turkish verse translation. This page describes the app in English, but a complete English-language app translation is not provided.
What Android version is required?
Android 8.0 (API 26) or later. Actual compatibility should still be checked on your device.
Does every Arabic letter highlight automatically with the sound?
No. Verse-level highlighting is implemented; letter-level timing needs manual per-recording alignment and is not offered as an automatic feature.
